Race & Class Comparison Tool
by teebling • 4th February 2019

I designed this tool to let people quickly compare race and class combinations side by side - hopefully this will help people who are still undecided on what they want to roll in when WoW Classic releases, and for those who want quick info for theorycrafting.

If you want to calculate exactly how much extra DPS, Armor, Dodge, Mana, Crit, Block etc. is provided by the differences in base stats listed above then you can use the barrens chat basic stats calculator tool to do this quickly and easily (open it in a new tab!).

The base stat values are from the Classic beta 1.13 build and therefore are authentic 1.12 database values.

I hope you enjoy using it and of course if you have any ideas/suggestions for improvement feel free to reply to this topic!

Why does tauren warrior have the same stamina as an orc warrior?

They have the same base stamina. Once the Tauren Endurance passive comes into play Taurens have more total stamina. These stats are before any passives.

Are you sure this is right the dwarf warrior ends up with more agility than the Human warrior and less Strength and stamina. It seams back to front?

Trolls and undead are the Horde's only priests and mages, yet the undead have 2 int / 4 spirit more in base stats. /cry

i believe the values for level 60 dwarf paladins are incorrect. Intelligence and spirit seem low. It shows 19 base int at level 1 and 29 int at level 60.

No, this is correct. I double checked for you on a few servers.

@teebling I think something's wrong with Troll warrior having only 12 agility instead of expected 22.

No. What was interesting was that like 75% of the private server values were actually spot-on correct. Only had to change a dozen or so combinations.

Hey @teebling I've been lurking a while and made an account so I could draw your attention to https://bobo-talents.aerobaticapp.com/, it's a talent calculator that I thought would fit well on this site. https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/com ... ent_order/ is the reddit post he made to describe his tool.

The right pane has a bug where the class colour doesn't show for Shaman, it simply stays the same colour as the previous class you were looking at.

There are plenty of class guides over the internet, some of my fav like the one on wowhead or MMO really deserve a good read. They'll give you a clear pic on what is what in WoW, but only to a certain lvl... Then, after you go pro, you simply need tools like teebling's and it works wonders @teebling! Genuinely couldn't be done better! Please keep up the updates every so often

A great tool, thank you!

btw, how crucial are base stats differences usually in vanilla? I chose NE against dwarf for my hunter, mainly because of shadowmeld and also noticed that NE has 9 more agility.
