Engineering for sure, along with mining. The grenades and gadgets are clutch in PvP.

I'm not really up to date, but alchemy might be the best, especially if you have rare recipes, as consumables are always in demand. In addition, Transmuting basically gives you gold for doing nothing.

I still have no clue man. What would you guys suggest for hunter? I was thinking engineering cause it fits my class somewhat, but I want to make money as well. What do you guys recommend?
One thing with engineering is that you can craft https://classic.wowhead.com/item=15997/thorium-shells from a world drop schematic. You can then trade them in to https://classic.wowhead.com/npc=14182/b ... ter-kolark in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar or https://classic.wowhead.com/npc=14183/a ... sheldonore in the Commons of Ironforge for the arrow equivalent, https://classic.wowhead.com/item=18042/ ... aded-arrow. Although the shells and arrows aren't the highest DPS projectiles for hunters (highest DPS bullets are https://classic.wowhead.com/item=13377/ ... nnon-balls drop from an UD Strat boss and highest DPS arrows are https://classic.wowhead.com/item=12654/doomshot drop from a ZG boss), they'll likely be your easiest to obtain and 2nd highest DPS projectiles. You can save money by making these yourself and trading them in. This was another selling point for my hunter. You can also sell the shells/arrows too, since they're not BOP like the blue items I posted.
Engineering it is then, I'm sold. Making my own arrows/bullets sounds awesome. What would you recommend to level it up? Mining? Also, should I stay with mining at lvl 60? Thanks
Personally, I stuck with mining for the obvious reason of being able to readily supply the stuff you make. I've read a lot that skinning and vendoring off what you get will make good money and fund you much better for at least your first mount, and I believe a few engineering schematics will need one or two pieces of skinning, so I guess it's not a completely mismatched option either. I don't recall having much difficulty getting the money for my first mount with mining and engineering though, but I'll be making an alt (rogue or shaman probably) with skinning to make additional money anyways.

Something else you can make money off of engineering with is the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=4369/d ... lunderbuss. There's a Horde quest given by https://classic.wowhead.com/npc=12724/pixel at the Splintertree Post in Ashenvale called https://www.wowhead.com/quest=6581/warsong-saw-blades that will end a quest or two later that rewards some nice blue gear for the 20s level range, so there will likely be a demand for that gun. There's another quest that requires the engineer-crafted https://classic.wowhead.com/item=4389/gyrochronatom for the Alliance/Horde quest known as https://www.wowhead.com/quest=714/gyro-what given by the Gnome https://classic.wowhead.com/npc=2921/lotwil-veriatus in the north-central-ish area of the Badlands. Doing that quest will open up the questline https://www.wowhead.com/quest=778/this- ... to-be-hard that eventually rewards the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=2820/nifty-stopwatch.

Alchemy for sure, I love making my own potions and elixirs, you can also make good money off of it.

Kinda depends on my class tbh. I've always gone Tailoring/Enchanting on my mages, but it could be different if I play something else.

Mining is the easiest as it allows you to generate a lot of the raw materials yourself. Not just the ore/metal, but also the gems like Malachite, Shadowgems, etc as well as stone for the different powders.

I could only vote for one, but I'm going Enchanting / Blacksmithing.

When I start out, I will go for herbalism/skinning until 60. When I hit 60, after a while I will drop skinning for engineering. So in the end it will be herbalism/engineering for me. Herbalism because high level herbs really earn you a lot of gold.

I was wondering what i should choose. As a PVP-focused player I'm going to take Engi + Skinning/Enchanting. I don't see the sense of the tailoring gear for my mage in pvp. For the leveling... herbalism and skinning.

Will go blacksmithing, and if I get in a premade guild I might even go down the armorsmith grind. Else axesmith for synergy with my warrior offtank ambition.

Does that mean you'd be building https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19169/nightfall for yourself for your 2h when not tanking?

I'll be starting out with enchanting and herbalism, then dropping enchanting for tailoring a bit later on.

Leveling my druid I will most likely pick herbalism and enchanting:
Herbalism, because it fits a druid, has a nice synergy with https://classic.wowhead.com/spell=20552/cultivation and druids can gather herbs in forms.
Enchanting, because I will definitely want to go for https://classic.wowhead.com/item=11811/ ... e-mountain, one of the best druid tanking trinkets, which sadly is BoP.
I'm well aware that enchanting is expensive to level, especially as a first profession, but to me it's much more bearable to get the mats while leveling instead of trying to farm them later.

Once I got the trinket I'm honestly not sure what to do.
On the one hand it would be a shame to drop enchanting after leveling it to 265 - on the other hand herbalism without alchemy isn't so great either.
I was already thinking about getting a level 35 bank and alchemy alt, which could craft all pots and elixirs for my main.
I was also thinking about engineering since I plan to do quite some PvP, but then I'm also into RP and I think druid and engineering just doesn't fit...

Oh well...

Didn't anticipate people doing something like this. Just an oversight on my part, will add dual primary's as an option.

Ah crap. Looks like updating the options killed the poll results.

Whelp - lesson learned, get it right the first time. DOH!

@teebling Is there a possiblity to add an option to maintain results even if a new option is added to a poll?

Engineering/Mining: Engineering mostly so I can wear a Green Lens. Mining for leveling engineering and for gold.

Tailoring, and skinning so I can mainly vendor leather while leveling. I'll drop skinning for engineering when I have a mining alt to supply my main.

Skinning and mining until I get an epic mount. After that, engineering.

A part of me wants to go eng/mining! But the gut is telling me skinning/mining while you level.

In all honesty, I have no clue what I'll pick up while leveling. Whenever I level it seems really random, that is probably a bad thing.
